Welcome to Financial Coaching with Sigrid (“I”, “we”, “our”, “us”).
These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) outline the rules and responsibilities that apply when you use our website, purchase a service, or attend a coaching session. By accessing our website, booking a session, or purchasing a service or gift voucher, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. About Our Services
Financial Coaching with Sigrid provides education, guidance, and financial coaching to help clients improve their money management skills, budgeting, and financial confidence.
We do not provide:
· Financial product advice or recommendations
· Investment advice
· Taxation or legal advice
· Credit or lending advice
If you require advice on specific financial products, investments, or legal/tax matters, you should seek assistance from a qualified financial adviser, accountant, or solicitor.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
By engaging with us, you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
Working With Children Check
Financial Coaching with Sigrid holds a current Working With Children Check (VIC), allowing the delivery of group educational sessions to young people under the supervision of a parent, guardian, school, or community organisation.
All youth-focused sessions are conducted in accordance with Australian Child Safety Standards.
3. Bookings and Payments
· Session bookings are confirmed once payment is received in full at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment.
· Prices are in Australian dollars (AUD) and may change without notice.
· Payment is accepted via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) Stripe Payment Processing.
· Invoices or receipts will be issued by email.
Rescheduling & Cancellations
· You may reschedule a session with at least 24 hours’ notice.
· Cancellations made within 24 hours of the appointment time are eligible for a 50% refund.
· No-shows (where a client does not attend without notice) are non-refundable.
· If you arrive late, the session will still end at the scheduled time.
4. Refunds
· Refunds are not offered for completed sessions.
· If you cancel with more than 24 hours’ notice, you may receive a credit towards a future session.
· Refunds are not available for digital or downloadable resources once emailed, accessed, or downloaded.
· In exceptional circumstances (e.g., illness or unforeseen emergency), refunds may be considered at our discretion.
5. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are available for purchase and are subject to the following terms in line with Australian Consumer Law:
· Valid for 3 years from the date of issue
· Expiry dates and terms clearly stated on each voucher
· Not redeemable for cash and cannot be refunded, except as required by law
· May be used toward any service offered by Financial Coaching with Sigrid
· Lost or stolen vouchers cannot be replaced
· Where the service cost exceeds the voucher value, the balance must be paid
· No cash change is provided for partial use; remaining credit stays valid until expiry
· Considered a prepaid service and non-transferable once redeemed
6. Referral Fees and Third-Party Referrals
From time to time, Financial Coaching with Sigrid may recommend external services, professionals, or resources that may support your financial goals. These may include accountants, bookkeepers, mortgage brokers, counsellors, financial wellbeing programs, or other complementary services.
Independence of Recommendations
All referrals are based on suitability and potential benefit to you. You are under no obligation to engage any referred provider.
Referral Fees
In some circumstances, Financial Coaching with Sigrid may receive a referral fee, or benefit when a client engages a recommended provider.
Any referral fee received does not increase the cost you pay for our services or for the referred service.
No Liability for External Providers
If you choose to work with a referred provider, your relationship with that provider is separate.
Financial Coaching with Sigrid is not responsible for:
· the performance or quality of the external service,
· fees charged by the provider, or
· any outcomes resulting from their services.
Transparency
Where a referral arrangement includes a financial benefit to Financial Coaching with Sigrid, this will be disclosed to you at the time of referral.
7. Code of Conduct
Financial Coaching with Sigrid provides a supportive, judgment-free environment. We ask that clients engage respectfully, arrive on time, and participate openly.
We reserve the right to discontinue coaching if a client behaves disrespectfully, becomes abusive, or breaches confidentiality or payment terms.
8. Online Sessions
· Online sessions may be held via Teams or another secure platform.
· You are responsible for having the required technology and internet access.
· Sessions affected by technical issues may be rescheduled at our discretion.
9. Group and Corporate Sessions
· Group sessions are for educational purposes only and do not provide individual financial advice.
· Participation in a group setting implies consent for general discussion; personal financial details should not be shared.
· Participants under 18 require parental or guardian consent.
10. Disclaimer
All information provided during coaching sessions, on the website, or through resources is general in nature and for educational purposes only.
You acknowledge that:
· outcomes depend on your individual circumstances and implementation,
· no guarantee is given regarding specific financial results, and
· Financial Coaching with Sigrid is not liable for any loss, damage, or costs arising from the use of our services or materials.
11. Confidentiality and Privacy
We respect your privacy and handle your information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles.
Personal information is used solely for providing coaching services.

12. Intellectual Property
All website content, materials, templates, and resources provided by Financial Coaching with Sigrid are protected by copyright.
You may not reproduce, share, or distribute any materials without written permission.
13. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
· We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of the website or services.
· Our total liability is limited to the amount paid by you for the specific service.
14. Website Use
You agree not to:
· use the website for unlawful or harmful purposes,
· interfere with its security or functionality, or
· reproduce or distribute its content without consent.
We may modify or withdraw the website or its content at any time.
15. Force Majeure
We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, including illness, technical failure, natural disasters, or government restrictions.
Sessions will be rescheduled where possible.
16. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a session (including a complimentary session), submitting payment, or purchasing a service or gift voucher, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not proceed with the booking or purchase.
17. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
We provide services to clients across Australia; however, any disputes will be resolved under Victorian law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
